Join House Martin Press: Share Your Knowledge with New Readers

We are at present looking for new manuscripts by academics and professionals passionate about their subject which are jargon free and aimed at an educated but non-academic audience. Our subject areas encompass all disciplines in the social sciences and humanities, as well as biographies of public figures.

As a new publisher, we offer authors up to a 50% share of all profits on their work. House Martin Press takes responsibility for proofreading final manuscripts, and aims to suggest the minimum amount of editing so that authors can represent their knowledge freely in the way and format they think best. The press is also responsible for advertising new publications; printing them in both color and black & white paperback editions as well as releasing them as eBooks if the author wishes; professionally editing photographs at the author’s request; and for making new publications available in bookstores around the world.

Please include the publication’s title; a brief description of the subject covered; a short outline of chapters; a list of books on the same or closely related subject already available; your anticipated completion date; and, an approximate word count. If the editorial team has insufficient knowledge of a particular subject, previously unpublished authors are welcome to recommend potential reviewers.
